Putting our high-resolution photographs on my VLD (very large desktop) as a computer background or wallpaper picture, I often forget that many people are working with much smaller screens. Now that iPad wallpaper is becoming a big thing (so many iPads to wallpaper, so little time), we thought we'd go through our archives and find some shots that work better for crowded screens where the icons need a cool place to reside so they don't muck up the shot too much.
The result is this collection, which includes some new shots with some of our old favorites, that we think are soft enough, or have a cool space for, icons to float above.
