View from the Helmsley

Taken from the 40th floor (I think) of the Helmsley in 2002. A lot of the shots in this series were taken from that window, while I was stuck there, sick as a dog. Great view.

58th St. Bridge in distance

I love this shot. You can see the 58th St. Bridge in the distance. How you can anyone ever say 58th street bridge without humming the Simon and Garfunkly tune? Thanks to Scott Murphy who told me that the open top redish building is the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations .
