First Shots from our Cross-Country Move: Yosemite National Park Nature Photos

Back in April we moved cross-country from Los Angeles to upstate New York. We took the scenic route and took some terrific photographs along the way. Today, I posted the first pictures from our trip, taken in Yosemite National Park. These high definition nature photos were are all taken in Yosemite Valley, as the backcountry was still closed in April.

It was a perfect day, and with the now globally warmed early snow melt, the waterfalls were going off big time! These pictures will make terrific computer backgrounds of Yosemite! They were taken with our new Canon Rebel XTI, at very high resolution. They've been posted here at a somewhat lower resolution (for space and bandwidth reasons). If you'd like the high-resolution version, just let me know.

I have launched a custom postcard and stamp store with a series of Vintage Yosemite Illustrations from more than 100 years ago. They are beautiful. Please stop by the shop and check them out. Here is a link

Yosemite is definitely one of the most beautiful places in the Lower 48. I'd say Yosemite and Yellowstone are right on par with each other. Great place and great picture. Thanks for sharing.
