A Wet Blanket on Baseball Town

Statues at the Baseball Hall of Fame in CooperstownAbout 6 inches of the wet stuff last night was enough to give us a preview of tomorrow's blizzard. While we were out getting supplies for the big event, I got a few computer background shots from around Cooperstown NY, including the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. Wait. Do they have a Minor League Baseball Hall of Fame? They should...
I particularly love this shot of the statues with snow on them. It adds to the sense of gravity defiance. Or reminds that gravity rules all. Or something. There's also shots of the Hall of Fame proper, the headwaters of the Susquehanna River, which is just astoundingly beautiful in the snow, and main street with it's American flag and electric wires and slushy snow covered street.
Stay tuned for more fun with blizzards!
